- If you are setting up a company, Uruguay Invest (produced by LVM, a local legal firm) provides high-level and general information about the business system, such as data about incorporation, taxes, etc.

- Comments by the finance minister in 2011 suggest that Uruguay may grant a 5-year window for resident foreigners to avoid paying the new taxes.
